Good to hear that Shaun has had a decent first season for you, but as an outsider looking in, with very little knowledge of behind the scenes there, what the hell has gone wrong recently.

It wasn't long ago that you were looking possible champions or if not definite play-off contenders. Is it just Keates leaving that has seen the recent slump in form of is it more deeper than that.

I'm not having a go or anything, I'm just genuinely interested why it's gone so wrong for you.

Is there any truth in the rumour that’s he’s off in the summer ? Wouldn’t sunrise me if he did leave, if the right offer comes in.

Keates leaving sems most definatly to of had an effect on the squad... as you said we was up there 4-5 points from Macc when keates left and sitting pretty for what seemed like a definate play off spot.. and no1 we lost 4 drawn 3 and won 1 i think in last 8 since he went

It's just been an absolute slide Les. Harsh, but we bottled it. Personally I think we would have made it if we hadn't made any bloody signings in January. We were at least getting one point a game!

We rode our luck, scrapping points up til Xmas, and then slowly drifted down the table. Poor signings in January didn’t help. We would still be where we are now had Keates stayed in my opinion.

We haven’t dominated more than 2 or 3 games this season, and we are going to end up in the area of the table that average conference cloggers usually finish - in the middle.

You missed 'the fans' in that. We've all heard/seen people's heads go in the stands as soon as it starts not going our way. The majority of fans are great, unfortunately you hear "hes shit", "we're shit" booing and all sorts from some people 10 mins into a game when we've given away a throw-in! A bit of mental positivity would be very welcome.

I hope Pearson is also talking about himself too though. Getting booked for screaming at a ref and losing your temper doesnt show toughness....in fact it shows a mental weakness.
