That's been a problem for awhile not this honest assessment by Wedge but players talking in the press saying we are going to do this and that and the game arrives they don't turn up.

Agree with JND prior to Orient game the crap coming out from Davies and the players was as if everything was fine so good to see a reality check has finally hit

Yeh we have heard week after week that the winning run starts now, 8 games 8 wins and so on...........................

I think the sad fact is that when the pressure is now on and we have played teams above the bottom 6 or 7 then we simply have not been good enough.

The problems that have dogged us all season have hit really hard in the run in and teams have just done basic home work on us.
Get 4 in midfield and dominate the centre circle and then make us play the long ball forward. Quigley has rescued us in some games with a goal here and there but if you don't get the basics right it hard work.

How many times it has to be said that the spine of the team is critical in this league is ridiculous. Settling for mediocrity is our problem as it was a step up from the total shte of last season.

Promoted team goes up with 86-89 points, not as if they were runaway leaders at the end and 2nd place were on 98 points.

We had our chance and blew it spectacularly, I fear we'll be here for at least 5 more years at least.

It’s good to know we’ve got players who know what’s going on, as we would never have known that they bottled it :eek:

Might scrape 3.000 on Saturday, I will be missing only my second home game this season. The ale trail is much more appealing. I hope they get all the boos they deserve at full time and we don't see at least half of them in a Wrexham shirt again !

To be fair Wedgbury isn’t a bottle job, nobody could have worked harder than he has this season. The joke signings made in January like Deverdics and Franks are bottle jobs, as are the likes of Mackreth and Boden.
