If you have not been given the nod or wink before April there is a good chance you are on the way out. Your mind is not on winning games, but how are you going to pay July's mortgage. D&D failed to motivate them is a bit like saying Toys R Us failed to motivate their staff in April
I dont agree. We had 7 players under contract for next season and the rest playing for contracts. Plus as a paid professional you should have some pride in what you do.

I think D&D got it tactically wrong and so much for Darlos supposed coaching skills. Seems to me Keates was the driver that held it all together.

Sadly some of them will be earning far less in the National league north or WPL with TNS but at least the level will suit them.

The new manager needs to spot up and coming talent far better and also realise that sometimes small improvements can all add up.

Jan window was a disaster especially when you consider Turnbull was available plus a number of other local players who would have improved us yet it appeared we sat on our hands doing nothing.

Fail to prepare then prepare to fail has never seemed more appropriate than us.

Pagl - I could not agree more.

Well, if players not being offered deals are trying to impress watching eyes from other clubs then they've a funny way of showing it.

Sadly expecting the lowest crowd of the season.

No incentive to go whatsoever - think the unbelievable poor run of form coupled with the 'bored to tears' style of play during many of this seasons matches means the final end to the season can't come quick enough - it's been a long season filled with optimism and high hope for the best part - until Keates departed.

I will ditto that too. I will be there as I meet my lads there. Nowt to play for - bit like a pres season friendly in reverse. The final whistle cannot come soon enough. Lots of posturing and promise during the season that he led to nowt. We all know that we will be here next August, it’s just that we are hoping for a dynamic new manager that walks the walk, as well as talks the talk.
Fylde are bound to beat us. They have already this season and are a better team. I will be watching out for the sponsored “Clapathon” from the Wrexham side of the Director Box at match end. Just where are they going to leave their rose tinted spectacles?

I disagree. If you made a career out of year long toy shop contracts and knew that loads of other toy shops would be on the look out for new workers after toys r us went bust, then you would be busting a gut to show that you could get a job at another toy shop.

Because you are worried about your mortgage this should be motivation to perform highly to showcase your skills and not the other way round.
