How did we afford Keates and Harris under WST ownership?

The midfield is a shambles and the first this the new manager needs to address. Pearson has been Captain fantastic and now we need a midfield general in the same mould to organise and lead others around him.
Weren’t they already under contract?

Didn't we renew their contracts though - the point being that we could afford decent midfielders and a lot of this budget talk is bollx.

Kieron Murtagh dominates in midfield and likes to drive forward with the ball. A season at Macclesfield shows he will come north. Always has a good game against us no matter who he's playing for. That's the kind of player i'do pay to watch!

The season is already over if we start with those 3 in midfield. Proven not to be good enough.
