Id say if we took Raven on we have enough defensively bar the GK position. Any funds need to be spent on the midfield and attack to get them sorted. If Ricketts can do that and get us scoring then we should hit the playoffs.

This sounds like another "Deverdicks always plays well against us"

Most teams I've seen this year have dominated us in midfield. Don't think that it's a recommendation.

The only stand out player over the last 3 years has been Whittaker from Macc. a proper footballer in the Glen Little mould.

To be fair he previously played for Lincoln and Grimsby so clearly isn't picky on location!

Agree with you Quay Red. Would also say that Rowe at Aldershot ran that game as well, but only because we conceded midfield.
