No we can't, thats a stupid thread title...however.

Henderson and Milner are two high-energy midfielders who break up play and shift the ball simply and quickly (Wright and Wedgbury).

In front of the midfield Liverpool used Mane incredibly well. He's calm on the ball, willing to carry it thirty yards, and he scores goals (Holroyd can do a Conference version of this)

Liverpool had two strikers with Salah the farthest foward (Mackreth) ,but never isolated from Firminio who is a tremendous passer and knitter of the play(Boden)

Voila!!! How to get the best out of our squad with no new players!

I like your analysis. The only problem is that Firminio is not finished, and Boden is.

Henderson and Milner play far further forward than Wedgbury though and one of our main problems was he was a virtual CB which then allowed the opposition the space to dominate the midfield.

If we are going to play 442 then that has to be the formation and not 4132.
Neither Wright nor Wedgbury are comfortable on the ball though which is a huge problem and one that hopefully Sam will rectify.

Fair play that Mane and Holroyd comparison gave me a chuckle!!

We do need someone with pace (like Mane) though. Opposition defences this season could almost play on the half way line knowing we didn't have the pace to get in behind

Wow. I'll have some of what you're on.
Henderson and Milner have one great advantage over Wedgebury and Wright. - They can actually pass a ball to one of their own.

Lay off the drugs. Holroyd the conference version of Mane :D

Problem our midfield have is they can't pass to save there lives or put there foot on the game to control it. that's when our defence aren't launching hoof balls over the top of them.

Hopefully most of them will be getting shipped out soon and we will be getting some in that know how to do the basics.
