Deverdics has potential in the correct set up,
Roberts is a solid right back.
Jennings is a liability

I'm all for giving deverdics another chance, but he was poor. However Jennings had a far far better season than Kevin 'never crossed the halfway line' roberts

To be fair neither of them barely crossed the half way line so its likely to be down to tactics. But Roberts has been the better at defending no doubt.

The fact that opinions are so divided shows, for Me, that both have their positive and negative attributes.

FOR what it's worth I think both are good enough and we should be concentrating our efforts elsewhere. The defence is fine (just need a bit of training on defending set pieces)

Agreed it's going to hard enough to get those 3 or 4 quality offensive players to supplement what we have.

Crewe are putting a team out today consisting entirely of home grown players.

Roberts is far better than Jennings and I've seen nothing to convince me Deverdics will come good.

That's their phylosophy but they were considering downgrading their Academy as they need to raise £750K each season mostly from player sales and that is an increasing struggle.
