I think it's more of a foundation than a spine.

Priority has to be centre midfield and 3-4 forwards 1 of whom is a winger.

No he was right, it has all been recognised in IandE and reported in our profit for this year . The figure in the debtors column simply means the cash has not been received due to the differences between income and cash.

I dont think people take Wrights age into account as much as they should. He's got a lot of improvement to come. Could be a big player for us.

No. The spine. Jennings, Roberts, Smith, Pearson, Wedgebury. There is no reason to tear up the foundation of a squad that was clearly a work in progress but yet lost only 10 league matches all season and topped the table twice despite its glaring flaws.

Dean Keates got the job about 65% done of cleaning up the mess Gary Mills left behind. He built the team from the back with a strong defense and the results were Wrexham won or drew 36 out of 46 league matches and improved 12 points from the previous season.

Now it's up to Sam Ricketts to finish the job. It doesn't take rocket science to know what this team needs to turn the draws into wins. Midfielders and forwards who can create and score.

A keeper that comes off his line to collect, at least some crosses, could be worth about ten goals for us over a season...
