I don’t think it’s Andy Davies that should be taking the flack. The board should take the majority of any criticism, for their inability to move quick and bring in a new manager.

Keates should rightly take criticism for the woeful football and our demise from the top of he tree. We didn’t strengthen well in January and if everyone is honest with themselves, we never really looked like promotion candidates. I’ve said this over and over, we rode our luck until Xmas and dropped to what was probably our correct position at the end of play.

If the board new he was going at the end of the season i am struggling to understand why they would put him as manager. He will have been spending time watching Walsall games to prepare himself for joining no doubt.

He's probably too professional for that, but it would explain our collapse if the players knew he was off.

Was it a collapse? We weren’t any better under Keates.

Excellent news. Now Ricketts can appoint his own man and somebody experienced. Hopefully the youth system can also be overhauled and become far more successful than it has been in recent years. At the “meet the manager” evening this week he did say that he had a “blank canvas “ to work on in terms of the club’s foundations, implying there isn’t at the moment much there of note.

It wasn't personally aimed at you, hence the "I love this board".

bit of a shambles really...keates coming across as a little rat and the unelected Board coming across as incompetent...Davies will be no loss clearly.... What happens next??? Darlington?? Manny? Pearson??
