Tipped As Manager

Re: Davies leaves for Walsall (Confirmed)
It has to be said that 25 years service is a real stint in this day and age and I think that most appreciate the time, effort and commitment he has shown to this club.
Thanks Andy. Who can blame him for wanting to test his talents at league level. Changing of the guard yet again in our management team so lets hope that Sam is the one we have been waiting for |

Re: Davies leaves for Walsall (Confirmed)
Andy Davies was really good at youth level highly thought of. I always felt he wasn't suited for senior football. looks like a good job at Walsall was in the pipeline and took his eye of the job in hand here at Wrexham. This has spoilt his reputation amongst some Wrexham fans just like Carey.

Re: Davies leaves for Walsall (Confirmed)
Good luck, great servant who tried hard but sadly will be remembered for the disastrous run in.
Our thoughts turn to who is next. I hope someone with experience to help SR become the manager we all want him to be. |

Re: Davies leaves for Walsall (Confirmed)
His reputation is still high with me despite the end to the season, he stood up to the plate but unfortunately wasn't good enough wwhen it counted. Doesn't diminish his service here.
Same IMO with the likes of Carey, Morrell and Keates. Carey was ultimately not a manager. Morrell was a great manager but couldn't recruit. And Keates got us strong but couldn't fully deliver and took an opportunity he couldn't refuse. All were fantastic servants to the clubs as players and their management stints should not diminish what they gave us. |

My thoughts his head was in Walsall, but I can say he was a gentleman to the end and maybe that's why he wasn't cut out to be a manager to nicey nicey. I respect him for the 25yrs of loyalty and wish him well in the future I don't agree with anyone blaming him for the teams collapse it had been happening since February when we were last top, other clubs strengthened sussed us out and stepped up a gear, our gearbox only had first, second and reverse. Don't be surprised if Wright steps up to assistant the cheapest option Posted via mobile theme Last edited by John Neals Dynasty; 10th May 2018 at 14.36:33.. |
