I remember seeing Nolan play for Stockport against us years ago and thought he looked like a great player. Surprised when he signed for Lincoln and was chuffed when we signed him.

I don't think he put the effort in though in his earlier years and it wasnt until Paul Hurst got him after he was released by Lincoln that he began to fulfill his potential.

Without question, letting Jordan Davies join Bangor on loan. Then again, the majority of fans appear to care very little about our young players so why should a manager? Anyway, like our once proud youth system, all water under the bridge now as we look forward to the next chapter of Johnny Journeyman.

Nicky Journeyman I think you'll find. But yes, strap yourself in for more of the same. Mills' mistakes were many but the biggest of all remains; stripping back the club to a bare minimum of senior pros and sweet talking those who run the club into not only seeing this as viable but desirable.

I'm sure it's not the only thing that will be mentioned on here where you need the benefit of hindsight. Also everyone was fully signed up to the cult of Mills when it happened, seemed like he had a plan. A few people thought there may be a player there.

Shocking to think that Mills is our most successful manager of the last 5 seasons taking us to a eye watering 8th finishing position

How many clubs does he have to pass through before people realise that this was the one time Mills got it bang on? He was too unprofessional for Mills to tolerate - just let that sink in.

^^^^ This.... went anonymous far far to often and was inconsistant... sure we can look at his undoubted talent and "hope" he would perform to potential on a regular basis... but he hasntt got that in him.. and for that reason.. as said above .. was right to be let go.
