As much as I detest Mills, at least I enjoyed watching some of the football.

You’d have to wake me up first before I could clap. Most of the applause came from Rutherford working hard and it winning us a throw in on the half way line

Nolan was a superb player for us. I think he came to us just after he left you. He played in massive part in our promotion having a hand in the winning goal in the play-off semis and being involved in all three goals when we beat FGR at Wembley.

Just a shame we couldn't hang onto him for longer but the lure of League One football, with Chesterfield (as they were then) was too good for him to turn down.

And despite that, the decision has been vindicated by a) the huge unbeaten run the team went on the moment he left and b) his subsequent career at this level, above this level and below it.
