funny enough I read that as well.... part time is defined where I work as anyone working less than 40 hrs, I believe last season CD was working with the players one day a week, hence my question.

I am pleased CD has committed himself to the club for another couple of years just wondered who would assist SR when he is working away with Wales.

Same here, I can't believe they extended the contract of someone who modernised our training, brought in GPS monitoring, periodisation which meant we had the fewest soft tissue injuries in a long time, video analysis, opposition analysis and improved team bonding.

Yes, we weren't very pretty to watch on the pitch or indeed particularly effective, but its not the coach that decides the tactics. That was all down to Keates and Darlington has been on record as saying he has a different approach but essentially Keates has the final word.

If we have a manager and assistant manager with the right mindset and way of playing then I'm sure someone with Darlington's credentials will prove invaluable.

The only way you'll see his impact is as, previously stated, in lack of soft tissue injuries, player performance monitoring etc.
The manager will be responsible for the playing performance.

In what aspects of his role did he fail?
