Given how pissed off some people are that we've had a good season before fading and finishing tenth you'd think they'd be wary of a manager who before this year was famous for his team starting well then fading and finishing tenth.

We got the equivalent of Askey in Mills a few years ago, gave him the contract he wanted, paid compensation to his former club etc. and it didn’t work.
Anyway, there’s no guarantee Askey will ever repeat what happened at Mac. He’s had years to do it. He reminds me of Morrell (well liked former player). If he’d been here many fans would have likely had enough and had him sacked years ago. |
