I’m surprised that carrington has been retained, given his lack of involvement at the end of the season. A good solid player to have in the squad all the same.

Holroyd has a lot to prove IMO. He was poor after Xmas. His inclusion in the team points to mid tableness...
Disappointed Rutherford has been retained. I’d like to think he won’t start many games, but I cannot see him having any impact from the bench. He wouldn’t of been near tranmeres team, or macc’s. Had he been released, a Southport or Chester would of been his highest hopes at a deal.

Raven in the most part did well for us, but maybe he wants first team football elsewhere. There is little surprise to the others leaving.

Only thing I would have done different is swapped out Carrington for Raven. I give it a mark of 9/10.

The future looks bright. Carrington gets another contract. We will never get out of this league while players of his calibre keep getting retained. A scandalous waste of money for an ineffective midfielder or full back without any pace.

Yeah because successive managers and a good proportion of fans are all blind. He's clearly not going to be on much money and I rate him as a player, you won't get better squad players than him at this level without stupid money

Spot on, he's a very good backup that can play in multiple positions and will be on next to nothing. A no brainer.
