Feels different to last year thankfully as we haven't had to gut the whole team after the dross Mills had signed. Think we've got a really solid core of the team. If we can just add that bit of magic up top we could have a really good season. Just hope Ricketts can get the players he wants.

The two aren't even comparable. Stating your opinion as a fan on a message board is a world of difference from an employer announcing an employee of theirs is out of the job via social media.

This is even more relevant to Franks as the other players let go are still under contract until June as they signed 12 month deals. Franks however was only signed until the end of the season so I suppose he effectively left after the Fylde game.

It’s just semantics, call it a former employer if you want. Bottom line is we should hold ourselves to a higher standard than players finding out through social media.
