Carrington is a utility player...unremarkable at any one position but will come in and cover injuries etc at LB, RB and midfield. Not unhappy with his retention as a squad player. And im sure he will accept that if he is settled in the area and he wants the security.

Dibble I am intrigued by, two year deal for who many consider a back up? I just might think he may be our first choice. Which I am ok with as long as he has competition. And this might free up more money to be spent on the team elsewhere...

Its interesting to note the retained list is out so soon after his appointment (which is obviously the right time to do it) but it does make me wonder how he has came to the conclusion on players. Darlington perhaps?

List looks bang on. Glad Rutherford and Carrington have been kept on, experienced squad members who are more than good enough for this level.
