Don’t get me wrong I think he’s perfect as a backup - youngish, cheap, serviceable. But around the time he played a few games for us and kept a few clean sheets we also had that non contract lad in net for one game and he kept a clean sheet. Our defence was on a roll at the time and pretty much anyone could have kept a clean sheet then.

Organised the defence very well and was a good talker/shouter for one so young I thought. Not saying I'd start him above Dunn quite yet but he's certainly ready I think to compete for the shirt.

Dunn's gone, so im guessing we can start him before him now!

Shows how much I've been interested in the last 3-4 weeks or so after that end of season, certainly since Orient, cheers!

I liked what I saw of him and was surprised when Dunn came straight back in.

22 clean sheets Dunn must have done something correct. I would have kept him on

It was a real shame for Dibble that when he got his chance through injury to Dunn that he too suffered injury (prolonged absence due to an ingrown hair in his back).

He looked quality and the 2 year deal sends out a message - can't see why he can't become our number 1 - hardly put a foot wrong when he's played which granted hasn't been for long.

Dibble looked a very good keeper before he had the ingrowing hair episode. Glad he's been kept, his dad told me he was very happy at the club.

Very much THIS. Still a lot to prove, but he looked to me like a lad who has all the tools to make up into a decent keeper. #justf*ckinglovekeeperswhoCATCHtheball
