2 years? What the fcuk. He’s a decent backup keeper but that’s it.

So now we have cover for 2 years and dont need a loan keeper.

Maybe Sam has a plan for number 1.

I don't see the two year deal as that surprising.

Lower wages are often traded for longer deals.

I thought the team as a whole had 22 clean sheets, especially given we had, I believe, four different keepers all season who also kept clean sheets between them.

Really glad we have kept Dibble. Better than Dunn in my opinion. Think we have a "keeper" here.

I think we would probably need a loan keeper to cover a long term injury. Can’t quite understand 2 year.... 12 months would of surely been adequate. He wouldn’t even make backup, if the unlikely did happen and we won promotion.

At some point we have to take a punt on players who are young and we can develop. I'd put Dibble in the Akil Wright basket, not the finished article as yet but has promise to work with and could make us a modest amount of cash if they kick on. Endless 1 year deals builds no stability and gets us no value out if players who might be saleable assets

Who cares about making 20k on players. It’s a drop in the ocean. We want promotion. We need the best players - simple as that.
