Default Dibble Signs New Two Year Deal

Christian Dibble has already signed a new two year contract. Pretty pleased with that as he's proved he's a solid back-up who can push for the number 1 jersey. I'd like to see a decent keeper come in for him to compete with.

Or does this mean he is going to be our number one?

Interesting length of deal for an understudy.....

Thinking the same myself. Hes in the main got a decent defence in front of him which will help breed confidence and when he did have his run in the side he look comfortable.

Don’t think he did much wrong when he played from what I seen, saved a couple of penalties too didn’t he, what do you do with the Dunn replacement, do you go experience pro or another young one?

Two years is surprising but he’s good enough for this level

perhaps we saved ourselves a couple of quid with a two year deal?

pretty low risk signing if we got him on number 2 wages.

From what I saw of him I much preferred him to Dunn personally.

No way will he be our number 1. He’s massively overrated by some on here due to his surname and a couple of decent performances.
Don’t get me wrong I think he’s perfect as a backup - youngish, cheap, serviceable. But around the time he played a few games for us and kept a few clean sheets we also had that non contract lad in net for one game and he kept a clean sheet. Our defence was on a roll at the time and pretty much anyone could have kept a clean sheet then.
