Issue is now that SR has to find a whole new midfield whereas before he could have built it around Wedgbury.

Yeah I'd say we definitely need to do better than Deverdics though he should be given a chance to prove himself in his 'favoured' position.

It's just because last year the team was truly crap. It looked like we had a decent foundation to build on with Wedge but now we're essentially looking for a whole new mid. I think Ricketts is more than capable of doing it, just frustrating as well as not having a fee for him.
