Re: National League Updates 2018/2019 Season
Sounds like Boreham Wood started the game like we did against Ebbsfleet.
If we play like we can we can definitely beat them. Not going to put too much emphasis on their last game though. Blips occur. |

Re: National League Updates 2018/2019 Season
We were poor last night. Too many players playing below par. BW certainly took all there chances.
I will be very happy if we get a point on Saturday. To all that are coming down, have a safe journey. |

FA trophy final 2014 winners: Cambridge team promoted to FL : Cambridge FA trophy final runners up 2015/16 Grimsby : team promoted to FL Grimsby... You see where this is going Borras red? 'messing around in silly meaningless cups' doesn't appear to hinder teams league success. You could also note us as we made the Play off final the same season as we won the FA trophy. The iron bru cup is also less of a hinderence in terms of games that must be played than the Trophy. Once more, our strength in depth thanks to Sam probably allows us to rotate the team so as to reduce the tiredness effect of more games, if anything a positive as it gives a run around to the likes of the mysterious freddy hinds. Re: National League Updates 2018/2019 Season
Not arguing for or against it but for the sake of balance here’s some other FA trophy finals
2015-16 winners - Halifax Town, who were relegated the same season 2016-17 winners - York City, who were relegated the same season And if I recall Bromley who made it to the final last season went right off the boil after being in the playoffs for most of the season. |
