Potential banana skin if we under estimate this game. Expect GB to prepare for this, field strongest team and put the game to bed. |

The amount of pulling, pushing and elbowing going on was a disgrace. How Danny Wright wasn't sent off for his elbow on Tilt is incredible. Agree though, that lot need to be taken seriously. |

Re: National League Updates 2018/2019 Season
You say it was a big gamble.but that was Moss/dickens/Roberts/gutterman/Hamilton Idea from day one to leave the club with debt. And the final nail in the coffin was by selling cheap season tickets for £200 each and then pocketing the money and then selling the club to the Wst who then had taken over a club loosing £700,000 for the season.

The 'debts' were paid with the FAT and play off monies and that cleared the decks. We need to put to rest the blame on the debt situation and move on. |

Re: National League Updates 2018/2019 Season
Hardly a ‘still paying the price’ amount though. Is it?
We get bigger crowds than under Moss etc and the fans havent done that badly backing the club financially. Its scaremongering to blame the debt that was inherited. |

Re: National League Updates 2018/2019 Season
That figure is just the annual rental cost.
To comply with the stadium safety certificate and general maintenance the figure will be much higher - yet last Saturday the Mold Road stand was leaking like a sieve - some people attribute this to the guttering but regardless some things are just not getting done - the water down pipes at the back of the Tech End stand are all leaking around their bases - water runs down the slope towards the Yale and collects / pools around the fence gap providing access into the Glyndwr car park which is the main access throughfare for pedestrian movement at this location - there are numerous examples - some things will attribute a compulsory annual test cost - others I suspect are simply not being done which leaves us open to additional future cost which perhaps could be avoided if the attitude of a stich in time saves.............. |
