Does it matter? They aren’t on more than our players, which I’m sure negates your whole point about them being bankrolled. It means they are overachieving due to good management.

Does it matter? Did they have ‘200k’ to spend in January?

I wasn’t saying that they aren’t doing well or don’t deserve it. My post was simply in response to a poster who said “Another team doing well and better than us so must be ‘bankrolled‘. They are bankrolled.

Bankrolled or not, it makes no difference, Solihull are top of the league, consistent, and have all the attributes we have seen before to win this league. They are certainly not pretty, but they are effective.

I’m sure they would have had a weakened team out, but losing again to a bottom 4 team can’t be helping their confidence
Their directors (and probably their best players) were at Old Trafford watching PSG!

Solihull remind me very much of Macclesfield last season - I really like their team, balance and strength throughout - no weaknesses - a good defence, midfield and options up front - one manager all season not three which has got to be a bonus.

dare I say it, but as a centre back pairing I think they have the best in Day & Gudger.

They may well be the surprise package but are most definitely capable of the unthinkable.

Just had a detailed look at the league table - it hits you how poor we are at scoring goals - on the flip side we are good at keeping them out - Solihull now go 4 points above us - we have one game in hand on them. In reality our away form needs to improve dramatically if we are to offer a credible challenge for top spot.

Spot on, whereas we and Solihull have both lost 5 games away, they have won 11 to our 5

Remind you of Macc? Are you joking?

They remind me of Stevenage under Graham Westley, who also won the league.
