They are making better use of their financial resources. May be spending the same on their strikers as we are on ours. They have less but better quality. Good management in my opinion.

Bobby Grant is rumoured to be on more than that, i know who i would rather out of them two playing for us!

Solihull are a side that we all say you need to be to get out of this league. A horrible side to play against, physical and in a sense dirty. The same way Mansfield were when they went up and other since we have been here.

Also, no chance is Grant on 1,800. Maybe at Fleetwood, but no chance here.

dare I say it, but as a centre back pairing I think they have the best in Day & Gudger.

They may well be the surprise package but are most definitely capable of the unthinkable.

Just had a detailed look at the league table - it hits you how poor we are at scoring goals - on the flip side we are good at keeping them out - Solihull now go 4 points above us - we have one game in hand on them. In reality our away form needs to improve dramatically if we are to offer a credible challenge for top spot.
While I agree with your summary of Solihull's strengths I just had a detailed look at the league table and 'discovered' that we are 4 points behind them with a game in hand. According to many on here our team needs changes in midfield and upfront and yet if we win our game in hand we are 1 point behind this well balanced side. I would say that despite having had 3 managers we appear to be doing remarkably well to keep up with this model side.

What we need is more investment from a billionaire and 5 millionaires and a £400,000 star striker like Solihull

We have one of the best supported teams in the league - crowds of 4,000+ generating lots of additional match day income but increasingly I really wonder where the proceeds all go - add on the Ward money etc yet we don't seem to be capable of going out and spending a bit on a striker.

Perhaps our money goes elsewhere - maintaining a 3 sided stadium will be a big drain and our outlay will be far greater than what Solihull spend on their ground.
