We can't afford quality players or a decent manager, he wanted this job. It feels like the club is drowning, sinking slowly into a deep dark hole of nothingness.

A strong rumour is he was interviewed but walked out when told his salary and how much money available to strengthen the side.

Rumour and Speculation is rife on this board.
Problem is too many believe it rather than find out if there's any truth in it.

It does make sense though. We were in with a real chance of top spot, probably the best chance we've had since the 98point season, so who do we bring in as manager? Brian Hughes, no experience at all, thrown in just because he played for us in the 90's and would be fairly cheap, and to top it off, we give him a three year contract!

Now, can anyone imagine Orient, Luton or any other ex league club with real aspirations of success doing that?

I remember when we played them at home second game of the season and Ricketts said that their style of play was what he admired, we’ll never know if he could have done the same for us

I wonder if Flowers will move on if Solihull fail in the playoffs, and will they appoint an ex player with no experience as their manager
