Halifax have signed Dayle Southwell from Guiseley as he didnt want to drop down to the NLN.

had a prolific season a few years ago for Boston that earned him a move to Grimsby but hasnt set the world on fire too much since, but had a similar scoring record to Quigley after he had joined them.

Only kidding foxy....

Seems there aren't too many sugar daddies out there who wish to invest in conference teams after all. Certainly unsuitable ones.
Really I thought these "investors" were chomping at the bit but just needed coaxing!

Harrogate Town have signed Arron Williams from Brackley.
He was one I hoped we would go after.

Not true.

I don't know whether Keates said this or not but it's a fact that their wage budget isn't bigger than ours.

What evidence to you have to back up the 'fact' that their budget isn't bigger than ours? Have you seen the accounts for both clubs? I wouldn't have a clue on the respective wage bills. I would hazard a guess that ours is larger but couldn't back that up.

I wouldn't have said it was a fact if it wasn't backed up by evidence.

The total for their wages and salaries was £536,664.
During this period they had 26 players on the books and 7 other staff involved in football activities.

None of the director's took a salary.

I'll leave it to you to do the sums.

What was ours for the same period out of interest?

And also, that is the costs for Wages and Salaries, not the budget. Highly unlikely, but if I am being pedantic, their BUDGET could have been higher than that figure...they just didn't spend it!

Thanks for the information, you'll be amazed at how many do declare something as fact something they got told down the pub or from Wikipedia. Could I ask where did you get this. I couldn't find this detail on their account submission on Companies House.
