We bankroll the club we just can’t match what others put in. There’s no difference really. |

Agree, any league at any time we have been in there have been teams with a lot more money. Its the way the cookie crumbles. All we can do is get on with our own thing.

we can fill our stadium and build the budget but we still not be in a position to outspend the multi millionaires who want to play football manager. financial fair play should be introduced to the national league your right that we would be lapping it up but it doesn't seem to happen that no one fancies putting their money into us which i find strange with our History |

I still believe in the fan model and would want to keep it that way if possible, but that does seem to limit our budgets. I guess my issue is with the authorities and the lack of any financial controls in this league. Clubs are constantly getting into financial grief due to poor financial acumen, and I think the increase in 'sugar daddies' elevating clubs perhaps way above their normal level adds to the pressure for others to spend, spend, spend. |

Re: National League Updates 2018/2019 Season
This, about sums up football, regardless of which league or which country. Football is only worth watching if their is a challenge. I'm sure with our hard core fan base and the NW potential we can see off the likes of Salford and others currently splashing the cash. Every club have their own challenges and for the Class of 92, it's to make a sustainable FL club that can operate in Utd's & City's back yard.

Re: National League Updates 2018/2019 Season
Thats goes against the opinion that crowds of 1700 don't make you a proper football club. Accrington, morecambe, fleetwood, crawley are they really proper football clubs. Yes by the fact they are there, no when you think its at the expense of us, Orient, Chesterfield, Stockport. As I said its the way the cookie crumbles, we make our own luck.
