Some clubs will always have more money, fans or both than others - for those on less before the season even starts to throw in the towel is ludicrous - money is a massive advantage but it's not just finance - team balance, spirit, balance and a motivational manager all come into it.

We are happy to rake in thousands through build the budget because we can having more supporters than most at this level but not so happy if a rival club is funded by another source - good luck to them (but not at our expense hopefully) they are currently living the dream - I doubt if the boot was on the other foot and we had financial backers many of us would complain - that's life. The two Christmas fixtures will be interesting.

They are moving at a very fast pace - the management team who took them up last season would probably have been retained by the majority of clubs in the same position - but no - get rid and move in an experience manager followed by a string of players of a much higher calibre - if they don't go up next season they will have underachieved - massively.

They just have a different mind set at Salford..Hard nosed professional decisions we just lack at our club..Do you think it will take 11 seasons and counting for them to get promoted?

It is but when we had a good chunk of cash with BTB in the Jan transfer window and it was in the main wasted on poor quality like Ainge.

Money is a huge factor here.

However we do need to improve on our own decision making just to make the top 7.

Until we pay what's required for players who can put the ball In the net on a regular basis, we'll be a non league club.

Ah but we could if we had a daily raffle with donated prizes - it's the Wrexham way. Joking aside that's the difference, we seem to require handouts, cricket matches and meals with the manager just to compete - milking the same fans over and over whilst Salford just sign the cheques.
