Default Scott Quigley

Barrow fan in peace once again.
Just signed him on a 3 year deal.
Any comments about him as a player will be well received.
Thanks, and good luck with your coming season.

Well we all wanted to sign him, he went elsewhere then has ended up back in this league full time anyway.

Hard to say but on his day can be useful, seems to be moving around a lot hopefully you can get him to settle in one place and focus.

A decent player on his day, his day isn't very often. Chronic hamstring injuries too. I'd be surprised if he plays 30 games in a season for you. Get him firing and away from injuries and you'll have yourself a decent striker tho.

Bit mad giving him a 3yr deal tbh, pretty certain he won’t last the full contract with you. On his day when his fully fit a very decent player who’s quite clinical when given a chance. But his bad side is he’s very selfish, often thinks he’s better than what he is. Also he’s made of glass so expect him to be injured a few times over the season. He’ll probably get between 5-10 goals for you.

Started like a house on fire here when partnered with Scott Boden. For some reason we dropped Boden and he struggled big time. Also injury prone with his hamstring

Good player. Likes to run in behind and run with the ball to create a shooting chance. Can be selfish at times. Injury prone though as others have said. I'd have him here over any striker we had here last season bar Pyke.

If he can stay fit and actually last 90mins he may be a good signing.

He was on loan at Port Vale and Halifax last season, hardly played for both sides

Scored 2 for Halifax from January until end of season one of them against us then the inevitable hamstring injury 10mins later.

He started off well here scoring 8 goals but couldn't last 90 mins through fitness levels, then he faded away his goals dried up, not a team player selfish with the ball and does not pass to players in better scoring positions. No heading ability.

But who knows if you can keep him fit he could push you forward into promotion challengers if he can find the net regular.

Don't worry we only like 6 goal top scorers 😉.

It’s all about fitness or lack of. Injury prone for 2 years but can score although greedy.
3 year could give him time and I would hope you have a get out clause in the 3 years.
