Yeah he was very good at claiming crosses. His distribution with his hands was always very good but he wasn't consistent with his feet. Sam Russell was the best goalkeeper we have had with his feet, he was like an outfield player.
Russell is reserve keeper and goalkeeping coach at Grimsby now. I think he'll make a good career as a coach to be honest.
