Most fans are suggesting re-structure and not sacking the whole board though.
The WAFC board mainly comprised of members from the WST board is not putting into place the right checks and balances - as January proved.

The WAFC board needs more of a diverse set of people and also needs to contain a cross section of people that can make more balanced decisions.
All we have now is the WST regulating a membership of @ 3,500 fans - no plans or strategy to grow this base and setting a budget for the WAFC board.

Mistakes are being made on the football side (IMO) and its that part that needs changes. The WST then has to take a more strategic role.

It smacks of being stuck in the past

This. The narrative is getting a bit boring now.

The board doesn't need sacking, it needs evolving.

This being the case your Hamilton argument becomes irrelevant.

I've not said anything about sacking the board and any of the things you posted I put the list in reply to Birdy who pointed out how Luton have grown and are now on course for the championship, you can add Lincoln and possibly Tranmere to progressing while we maintain our status quo (not the group) i was giving him a list of why we are stuck down here and you pointed out one of the main reasons why we are stuck down here the living in the past of 11 yrs ago terrified of private ownership shown by your comments about Hamilton I'm not even suggesting selling the club but outside investment being sought.

Your comments strike me as being happy watching the worst standard of football in many many years just as long as we have a club, what you don't seem to realise is even though our support has been great, fans won't put up with the lack of ambition and being run like some back Street run down pub where the ceiling leaks and the beer is off

That's the Racecourse we are paying rent on a moneypit roofs leaking, one end and the main end of the ground a demolition sight a monument to glory days long gone.

Don't you think our great fanbase deserves better than the club on the playing side being run by fools?

Pretty much this. No one is outright saying the current board should be ditched.

But its clear that we need more specialised experience on there notably in the Football department.

Have to agree with this. After Keates went and we appointed Davies and the disaster that was I didn't think we would make a similar mess. We don't seem to learn from our mistakes. We need someone with a football brain on there.

We do need to reassess our use of the Racecourse. She holds lots of great memories, but they are fading fast. How much of our extra revenue from gate receipts and transfer deals has to be diverted from the football budget into infrastructure costs?

What are the average, annual running costs and rental payments to Glyndwr?

Can we get out of our longterm lease with Glyndwr, if required?

My belief is that we need investment from FAW and/or Welsh Assembly to make it viable. But if we did have to leave it, where would we go? Even a new Deva-Max would not be cheap.
