The Supporters groups have sold over 700 envelopes with players for World Cup teams, with the chance of winning some great prizes e.g. first goalscorer in the tournament, first player sent off etc.

Potentially £1k raised for BTB - great effort by all those involved.

This sounds a bit complacent for me.

Yes we had the best defensive record in the league last year,
but everyone's a year older,
we're going with a different keeper,
the fitness and performance guy Nick, who Sam himself said was responsible for the reduction in injuries, slipped out the back door while no one was looking,
whatever your views on wedgeburys technical ability, he did stop a number of attacks with his energy and bite in the tackle,

Let's hope we get some proven forward players, but also bolster defence and midfield too. I'm sure we will ��

For me we need to put more effort into expanding the WST membership surely that should be the main aim of the WST with only roughly 3000 members and gates last season 4000+

This is a point I have made numerous times and to the WST - but to no avail.

I am not sure what the structure of the membership committee is, what its aims/goals are and how it plans to grow membership but it really does seem to be a closed shop which has its roots firmly based on distrust and fear of the past. I had some feedback about data protection and also worries over lapsed members that may have passed away!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

After the 25th lapsed members can not be contacted again with out prior permission agreed before that date, I’m sure it wii all be in hand and they have been written to.

Aye the new GDPR EU legislation which is coming into effect. It's the reason why we all have been noticing alot more spam in our email inboxes asking for us to agree to updates in company privacy policy!
