Personally I think it's gonna be our year. The board have made a sterling appointment in Ricketts in my opinion and I think we have a great nucleus of a squad that can challenge for promotion (although Rutherford is a waste of the budget). U16s or not Ricketts has experience with top level players while Keates was frankly one dimensional and a footballing dinosaur. Exactly. Sound bites from Sam are signings will take some time and I would expect not many either.

Its actually quite possible that Rutherford was one of the better players in the last two years.

And that is the state we find ourselves in. Rutherford is a decent player but not promotion first eleven IMO. Im happy he's still here as he gives us options if we are in control, he can help close a game out whilst still offering an outlet..

If this was true then he wouldn’t be here as a team with more money would have bought him. Why didn’t Tranmere or Macc sign him?
