I don't understand the problem here - Keates obviously rated him, whether we tried to buy him or not I don't know, I assume we did but Trans-mare would not sell to a Conference rival (and rightly so) - so Keates obviously still rates him at L1 level so has gone looking again in a club 2 leagues superior to us - its a no brainer for Cook and Walsall if true

however, I don't understand the vitriol here, he's not poaching our better players (I also assume as part of letting him go at the time we did there would be a clause not to poach our players for at least a season)
