Its funny how his position from messiah changed to king rat, isn't it?

why do you think that is?????

You may say 'can't blame him etc, but surely you would not expect him to maintain his messiah status, would you??

Keats agreement with us was as a Manager - it was never a marriage. We all know players and manager move on. This was no different. After smelling the coffee, most of us see that Walsall are in a better position than us to attract talent. That’s tough to take, as they used to be our rivals in the 70’s. They may have have had a few lucky breaks, whilst we were shat upon.

I'm self employed, I start a job, if someone rings me and asks me to do work for them (no matter what its worth), I'll say, " Of course I'll do it for you, but I need to complete the job I'm on first" Not just down tools and bugger off!

Football isn’t like that though.

You're right of course, they have no loyalty or morals.

Totally agree, well done to Andy Davies and Michael Oakes for waiting until the season is over and finishing the job they were being paid to do. Also well done to both for going so early in the off season, so it gives the club plenty of time to bring in a replacement.

But clubs have no loyalty towards managers because if things aren’t going so well they get the boot.

No of course I don't blame anyone following the money especially at this level and to be honest it's why it's very doubtful we will ever go up unless the system changes, of you check my posts I never hailed Keates only as a player for us, I was one who seen him as the cheap appointment at the time & I still think he is overrated but maybe he will improve.... No problem with Keates Joining Walsall just his selfish timing, if they had really wanted him badly they would of waited until the end of season, for all his denials about the job when the vacancy came up I think Keates told his agent to sound Walsall out.

I also think he knew we weren't good enough to go up & he would never have a big enough budget to do it.

No prob with his mates leaving for more money and a club with more ambition either, money talks in all walks of life.
