I thought Ricketts had said he would be trying to get friendlies against teams that would give us a game and be trying to win rather than teams that would be playing us off the park. What would we gain from playing a team that keeps the ball for 90% of the game and beats us easily

Too many people on here always look for the negative in everything the club/team do instead of looking for the positives and there’s plenty of those.
I for one will judge Sam after 10 games .

As someone who ain't interested in pre-season kickabouts against teams even lower than us, I'm more concerned about seeing Ricketts talking the talk put into action, words win nothing... I'm seeing lots of scousers talking the talk about tonight, if Madrid win they will disappear back into their bandwagon holes,if they win which I think they will quite a few local locals will be crowing who should be supporting their local club.

As Nigel says above if a few staunch Wxm fans on here were a bit more positive about things, the kids would be less inclined to follow the likes of Liverpool. After all they have more than enough football fanatic folks of their own without Welsh kids.
