The problem is though as we have a new young Manager at the club now , if he gets us into the top three after Xmas , there will be Div 1 and 2 clubs looking for fresh talent and Sam fits very nicely as he looks professional and clean cut with a good image , so it starts all over again unfortunately , and don't tell me he wouldn't go , like anyone with aspirations .

Well anyone who is a success at our level whether player, coach, physio or manager will be targets for clubs higher up the pyramid. Look at Askey going to Shrews. Just a fact of life and there are much better things to worry about.

How can you say that when we have not played a game yet under him?,like any other new manager he says all the right things that is why he got the job!

I wonder if Keates would have turned down interest from other clubs. Clearly, Walsall is his team but saying that, if he does well, he’ll leave them too.
