Just watched video of the team training. Interesting to note that our physio is now doubling up as a goalkeeper coach.

Everything so far about Ricketts screams that we are operating extremely frugally.

Depends on your definition of skint. If you mean not enough money to bring in a good quality squad to challenge for the league then yes.
If you mean, can we pay the bills, then no.

I just mean, is the reason we have the first team back for training but haven’t yet an assistant manager or gk coach in place to work with said players down to financial issues?, or is it sam being unable to get his backtoom staff in place, or both?

I’m no expert, but, it all seems a bit amateurish. Am I being unfair?

Do we really need a goalkeeping coach? If I was in Sam's shoes and thinking that I can't justify a full time post for goalkeeping coach, I'd be asking someone like Wolves, " can I send my keeper down to you for a day every week".

I have to say that I am concerned at this situation. Ricketts has now changed his tune on his assistant manager and is going to take his time to find the right person. Not sure that's going to help our pre-season.

The physio training the goalkeeper is tinpot. This should be sorted by now.

Is pressure already building on Ricketts?

Preparation is key and with us lacking in signings and in coaches we’re destined to go nowhere hopefully I’m proven wrong.
