That would involve a businessman with cash, support from the local council and WAG. Not really a model that we could follow is it?

I think your missing the point here folks. My initial posting was about our club having a philosophy, and a way of doing things. In mentioning Leinster, I was merely referring to a successful organisation, nothing to do with rugby as such.
Having lived in Wimbledon and watched that club over the years, would it not be of benefit to our club to have club officials spend time with them.
I think a number of you would have to agree that our hope and a prayer attitude to each season has not and will not work.
As for the comment about Swansea, there are many things we could learn from them. The Club would appear to have come off the rails big time, there is a very strange feeling of dread regarding the future. I will write a separate thread as there are things that Wrexham fans might want to know regarding the stadiums in Llanelli, Swansea and Cardiff.

A big part of Wimbledon’s success is that they were successful in the play-offs (on a very low playing budget if I recall) in the same period as we missed out for a few seasons in a row. As ever luck is a big factor in these things.

Being in the league has made their fan owned model even more successful because of the higher funding now available to them. They, Wycombe, Exeter and others show what is possible for us.

Not only possible, but I would say probable if our fans keep the faith. None of those are exactly footballing mad areas, but like us have good a good potential of good catchment areas.
