We are a community owned football club.

For the Community. The whole community. These are our club values.

They should be part of the fabric and culture of our club and not resolution dependent.

Otherwise we may as well have a resolution asking the members to vote if we want our players to score more goals than the opposition during open match play.
You're also bang on

Sorry, but you'd have to be a right tosser to argue that! (the loss of income not your counter-argument! )

If, as you've already said, you've funding for the platforms and all the changes to the ground (I presume there'll be some structural changes needed e.g. More disabled toilets, ramps etc, walls down, new ones built) I think things should be pushed on quickly, no point waiting as things will only get dearer. Will you also have enough to make the new toilets the kind with hoists for adults, that would be fantastic?

Agree wholeheartedly. The DSA continues to do a fantastic job for our less privileged fans and the public relations value to Wrexham AFC of their achievements is invaluable. You would hope that every effort is being made to strengthen the links between Club and DSA and that such close co-operation would speed up the process of improving facilities for our disabled fans.
Our FPA committee has had informal discussions and will be offering our full support on future fundraising events to WrexhamO and his wonderful DSA team.

Plans for platform 2 include a lift and remodelling a toilet block to put a new accessible loo in..
Sadly there is not room for this to become a properly accessible toilet.
It is something we are acutely aware of and would love to rectify as soon as possible.

I hope I'm not stepping out of line copying this from the DSA Facebook but people should read it:

"An email from the club to our list of platform users yesterday said;

"Do you have any other ideas or comments that will help us move forward as
a club ? We felt with all the changes we are striving to make , who better
to ask the opinion of than the wheelchair fans who will be using the
facilities."

It also asked if wheelchair users were happy to have undersized unmarked wheelchair spaces pitch side. Despite the Resolution at the WST AGM on Monday instructing the WST to properly designate them.

We feel for our 2 members who went to a lot of trouble to put forward the Resolution.

It has left some of us questioning if there is any point in having a DSA at all."

Given the lack of backing of the club to the resolution and now this, what exactly are the club playing at?
