Wouldn't it be great if the club could give every aspect of running the business, football club and team equal time and effort. Of course that isn't possible is it. Thankfully we have supporters groups and the DSA that are brilliant in filling voids, working together with all relevant bodies anything is possible.

It isn't really a question of 'time and effort' Flump' ,it's more a question of attitude,and that's precisely why the DSA has felt it had no option,but to try to force the Trust and Club's hand in this way.This kind of resolution really shouldn't have to be put forward,it shouldn't have been required,believe me!.

And on behalf of the DSA,I would ask every member to think about this for more than just a few seconds.This is an issue which is very important,to a good number of loyal,long-serving fans,who are not asking for special treatment,just some simple,practical equality (and the club won't even have to fund the proposed platforms).

The majority of clubs are STILL falling well short of providing even minimum recommended standards,for accessible facilities.Don't consign WAFC to that indifferent majority,and help this club to continue breaking that mould,which it has already begun to do,through the determined work of its DSA.It will cost members nothing,and would make a positive difference in following WAFC,for numerous,true fans.Thanks in advance for all support,and PLEASE,PLEASE,help make this happen.

Our FPA has close links with the DSA. We have a meeting on Thursday and I will be urging those of our committee who are WST members to back this proposal.

Apart from anything else, it would have been useful to know what the factual errors were before voting! (I fully support the motion, though.)
