But its not just the funding is it ? someone has to organise this and there will always be extras to pay . Dont get me wrong I supported the last platform and obviously we need more covered space for our disabled supporters .
I think that one of the issues that may have been holding things back was that this 2nd platform is for the away supporters not our own.Be nice if all the other clubs were as proactive as our club is trying to get decent viewing platforms.

You call it a dig if you like. I call it a total failure to understand why there has been no official WST/WAFC reaction since the vote.

I find it strange that Spencer Harris , who tweets almost as much as President Trump, has comments on everything from snakes, women's football, trips to Portugal , fellow Directors' birthdays etc etc but absolutely nothing to say about the DSA platform which his WST board has been mandated to build.
Not a personal dig at Spencer by the way , just an observation.

Come on Dave. It was a bit of a low blow and unnecessary.
It's not Spencers board or any one persons board it's our board and they were instructed to move on the platform at the earliest opportunity, which I'm sure they will.

Yours suggests that it is the club who would be responsible to pay any extra costs "if" there were any.

But... (and I would hazard a guess you don't know any more than I do...) the DSA might already have the funding in place to cover any unforeseen additional costs.

Hence no bitten bum ?

The DSA are committed to cover all the costs (alongside match funding).

Didn't the extra weight and use of the lift then it broke down for ages hence no use of platform. ? hope there is no requirement for a list this time ?
