Don't know which "one season wonders " you mean?
Ugarte springs to mind!

I assumed Sparky was talking about your suggestions- I may be wrong!

Looking at your suggestions from my era, Ugarte wouldn’t come close for me. Not sure Holt’s 2 seasons would get him in (imo) and feel Whitley and Dibble were good servants but perhaps not HOF-worthy.

Strongly agree on Humes, Pejic, Ward, Morrell and Thackeray (possibly biased there as he was one of my favourite players when I first started supporting us!)

Yep, and let's be honest, Morrell ( nothing against him and I like the bloke) was a one season wonder. Dibble, Holt, did well for us, but hall of fame?

Where can the current hall of fame be viewed so I don't make a tit of myself again. Thanks.

Thackeray was probably the best right-back we've had since the mid-late 80's in my opinion.

Great to see debate about various candidates and sincerely hope we can revive the tradition. Andy Morrell is one of only two Wrexham players to top the Football League goalscoring charts in a season , the other being Albert Kinsey in 1969/70. He also led us to 2 Wembley appearances in a season as manager , including winning the FA Trophy and accumulating a record 98 points.

The Hall of Fame was on the WAFC Official site until recently when it disappeared. Meeting Geoff Scott soon to get it reinstated.

Glad it’s not just my bias talking, then!

Sparky - AM may have been something of a one-season wonder as a player, but for me, his time as manager added to that puts him into HOF contention.

It's all subjective I suppose. A hall of fame for me really should be the creme de la creme and I personally wouldn't class many of those name including Morrell as that. That said, what we wouldn't give for any of those names in their prime to be with us now. Sigh.
