Renewed mine yesterday, see you next season, unless you're going to Portugal.

The cost of the Swansea Bay lagoon was estimated to be £1.3billion, and considered by Government to be too much money to ask UK residents to pay.

A week ago, there was news of a Llandudno Bay lagoon... according to a Glyndwr Uni report. the cost? £7billion according to the BBC. If £1.3 billion is too much, how the hell could £7 billion be justified?

Carwyn's £200k is no more than a drop in the ocean... literally. It can be no more than the death throes of his political life. He'd previously said that WAG would help fund it in the £tens of millions. Chris Ruane and Darryl Miller are enthusiastic in their support.

Maybe we need to ask Cardiff for a lot more money in order to be noticed!

The Dee and Mersey estuary area is best suited for such a scheme.

Not so much the Mersey but certainly the Dee. Unfortunately the local wildfowlers don't want the ducks and geese disturbed otherwise they'd have nothing to kill.
I'd love a barrage from West Kirby to the Point of Ayr with a road on top , think how quick I'd be able to get to Colwyn Bay or Llandudno.
