Audio Descriptive Commentary service
 

We at the DSA are absolutely delighted to announce that the club's Disability Liaison Officer Kerry Evans advised us today that the WST board have approved our plans for audio descriptive commentary for blind and partially sighted fans of the club have been approved by the WST board.
We also have a sponsorship deal in the pipeline which we will announce at the earliest possible opportunity.
We have also approached Europe's top English language service provider Alan March Sports to operate this for us.
We have the equipment ready to test and hope to be able to name the donor as soon as they give us their blessing.
Thanks go out to DLO Kerry Evans for getting these plans approved by the WST board.

Brilliant stuff. Takes me back to the good old days when the Supporters Association operated a similar service.

I did offer to assist with commentating duties when it was last muted on here and discussed it with Andy Pierce at last years open day. Still prepared to offer any assistance as needed. Though no previous experience so if more suitable volunteers step forward then happy to step aside.
