"How many of the 92 league clubs are fan owned? 5? 6?

of the 80 + that are privately owned, how many have turned sour?"

So, answering the point that YOU raised, I would say it is a fact that the overwhelming majority of clubs that have entered administration are privately owned, compared to fan-owned.
You need to do it on a percentage basis. Of course more privately owned clubs have gone into admin simply because there are alot more of them.

Absolutely. I'm aware of the maths involved (I knew I was wasting time studying a BSc in Maths in the 90's - finally!). Actually, though, I think of the current 92 league clubs, about 0% are currently in administration and zero are obviously bankrupt.
Go ahead though, I'd be willing to wager that of all of the clubs who have entered administration the VAST (All? I can't see any on the list who I believe were fan-owned, but I'm willing to be corrected) majority of them were privately-owned at the time. There's a list here...

But you seem to be ignoring that EXETER had a Cva whilst being fans owned

I think Vince is far more squeaky clean than Pilley because at least he hasn't earned his money by conning elderly people of their savings with a hair brained gas drilling scheme - allegedly

That would tell someone outside looking in that we didn't do the right checks on those sharks, that we didn't learn the lesson from the first Crook.

yes, plus they have to convince us they are the right person, people to take us forward. Which won't easy.

It turns out that EXETER were 4.5 million in debt when they took out the Cva ..they therefore avoided paying back the full amount. They only paid 10% to their debtors. There fans rallied around paying £500 bonds each. But it was the good fortune of man Utd away which saved them.
