Just a reminder that the Football Special event returns to Oswestry tomorrow after a break of a couple of years.

If you know any football mad youngsters collecting the World Cup stickers, tell them to bring their swaps along to the Shropshire Reds stall to help complete their collections (kindly sponsored by Stan's Superstores of St. Martins). There is some Stanley Matthews memorabilia (including an England cap) on display, together with stalls from AFC Telford United, AFC Oswestry Town, The New Saints as well as the Shreds. Family tickets for games at both Wrexham and Shrewsbury are up for grabs in a raffle in aid of Hope House.

Refreshments, real ale and steam train rides will be available.

.....Oh and we've been told that the Red Arrows will be paying a visit during the afternoon between 3 and 4 but that's still subject to confirmation.
