Let's hope the FAW can get beyond the South centric focus that seems to be prevalent. Unfortunately, this may prove to be a difficult argument as over 60% of the population live in the area between Chepstowe and Swansea. With a quarter of the total being residents in Cardiff, Newport and Swansea. Whilst the area defined as North Wales makes up just over 20%. As the south is the political and economic centre of the country we will always be the poor relations. Add into that the historic distrust between North and South it makes it very difficult to get support for the North.

The pitch won't be ready in time is the reason, not the requirements.

I stand corrected re the Pitch but if you look into it the Ground still does not meet minimum UEFA Standards again I reiterate Sad Times

So our ground doesn't meet the requirements but Spyty Park did and TNS does.

It depends on what it is in regards to whether it's sad times or not. If it's something like the 4th official doesn't have his own shower then it's not that gloomy. If it's something substantial then fair enough.

The answer is...it's simply not true. People have confused Wales' full internationals with everything else that we are able to host if we had a pitch laid down.
