Might well be the explanation concluding existing contracts that expire the last day of June. I would imagine there must be insurance complications of cover but having said that it's less than a weeks worth - provided all the documentation is signed, sealed and delivered I would think this issue is easy to overcome - one blessing we do have is a very experienced club secretary, a foundation stone of the club in the form of the excellent 'Sir' Geraint Parry - at least he hasn't gone to Walsall with the Laughing Gnome - now that truly would be a massive loss.
